Terry's Bio:

I have been writing ever since I could write words and form sentences. My earliest memory of writing was when I was in kindergarten and I would write sentences in my coloring books before I colored the pictures. As a child, I also wrote poems. I began to write song and rap lyrics as a teenager. Throughout my twenties and most of my thirties, I experienced severe writer's block and did not write any type of creative literature.

?In 2008, I began writing song lyrics again; and in 2010 God gave me the vision to write about my experience and journey to become a wife as I sat in a marriage enrichment class at my church. After writing an outline of the book, it would be another year before I started work on the manuscript. The initial title was Always a Bridesmaid ~ Never a Bride because I felt like a perpetual bridesmaid during my season of preparing to be a wife. After completing the manuscript, I edited the title to more accurately decribe my total experience; and No Longer A Bridesmaid! was born. I have a heart to help women by uplifting, empowering and motivating them to become all that God has called and purposed them to be. My ministry advocates for and suppport causes that uplift and empower women and girls.

I am married to Lloyd; he is my Boaz, my "Knight In Shining Armor" and the King of the castle. We have three wonderful children.
