Casting Your Pearls Before Swine....Women have been marginalized and blamed within that worldview. Understanding the Sacred Feminine energy that women bring to the world helps correct such erroneous viewpoints, and simultaneously empowers women who otherwise do not know how to appreciate or value themselves. This talk will present a look at powerful women of history, legend and religion to empower today's women to honor themselves and their sexuality, so that they do not 'cast their pearls" carelessly out of fear or a misguided pursuit of love. Darnise Martin, Phd is a Spirituality and Relationship Mentor with 15 years of graduate education, training and experience in helping people transform their lives. Dr. Darnise holds a doctorate in Religious Studies and is an Assistant Professor at Loyola Marymount University in LA where she teaches courses in African American Studies and Theological Studies. She's authored of Beyond Christianity: African Americans in a New Thought Church.
