“God’s Leading Lady when the odds seems against you… with Ms.Sparkle Lee from Harlem NY. Ms. Lee is the first female to be appointed to the New York States Athletic Commission and the only licensed female professional referee in all of NY and NJ. Ms.Lee has been the referee in a WBO Title Bout, broadcasted on HBO, and recently officiated a pro fight in Johannesbury, South Africa.
Now,Ms. Lee is known for her ability to keep the fights under control, and places the safety of the fighters above everything else. "If anybody's getting hit a little too much and they're not fighting back, the fight is over," Lee said. “It’s about them, it's not about me. I stay invisible, I'm just there to make sure everything is in place and everyone gets home to their families."
Today, Lee will share with us obstacles which stood in her way, but didn’t hinder her from accomplishing her goal. As God's chosen Leading Lady she has learned how to persevere when it seems the odds are against you.
