Well, it's doubtful anyone saw that coming. Taking two of three from the Royals was always a distant possibility, but losing two of three to the Twins just wasn't in the cards. That's what happens when your offense only scores a total of four runs in three games, though.

But onward we go! HookSlide and Rob revisit the Royals and Twins series to talk about what went right (hello again, Michael Fulmer), what went wrong (please come back, Miggy), and what needs to happen going forward (get well soon, Jordan Zimmermann).

Then of course there's the upcoming Series of Sox as the Tigers go to Chicago for four games, then off to Boston for three games in what could be one of the more important road trips this season. The trade deadline is looming, and the Tigers need to win as many games in the next week as they can if they want to buying and not selling on August 1.

Topics in this week's episode include:

- Is Anibal Sanchez back?
- Matt Boyd might just be more valuable than you think
- Steven Moya's out, Tyler Collins is in, and WOW do we need J.D. Martinez back
- The Tigers are still winning the Kinsler/Fielder trade
- Quiz time! Who have been the worst Tigers starters since 2005?
- Brad Ausmus continues to be bad at strategicalizing
- Is it safe to keep rooting for this team in 2016?
- The baseball season might be getting shorter
