Dr. Ivan Misner is the Founder of BNI, the world’s largest business networking organization, founded in 1985. BNI now has over 6,600 chapters throughout every populated continent of the world. Last year, BNI generated 5.4 million referrals resulting in over $6.5 billion dollars worth of business for its members.
Dr. Misner’s Ph.D. is from the USC. He is a New York Times Bestselling author who has written 19 books -- his latest; Who’s In Your Room? He is a columnist for Entrepreneur.com and Fox Business News and has taught business management at several universities throughout the US.
Called the “Father of Modern Networking” by CNN and the “Networking Guru” by Entrepreneur magazine, Dr. Misner is considered to be one of the world’s leading experts on business networking.
He is the Senior Partner for the Referral Institute – a referral training company with trainers around the world. He was recently named “Humanitarian of the Year” by the Red Cross. In his spare time, he is an amateur magician and a black belt in karate.
