Ed and Deb Shapiro welcome Arianna Huffington to talk about her new impassioned and compelling book, Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder

In April 2007, after years of round-the-clock work to launch the Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington collapsed from exhaustion, injuring her eye and breaking her cheekbone. It was a wake-up call, forcing her to ask if this was the life she wanted. Since then she has dramatically altered the way she lives. She now teaches fearlessness and meditation, and her new book:  Thrive: The Third Metric to Redefining Success and Creating a Life of Well-Being, Wisdom, and Wonder, reflects her deep commitment to spirituality as she redefines what it means to be successful both in our work and in our personal lives.

An important thought leader and mother, Arianna is the editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, a news and blog site that that she launched in 2005. It quickly became one of the most widely-read, linked to, and frequently-cited media brands on the Internet. In 2013, she was named on the Forbes Most Powerful Women list. In 2006, and again in 2011, she was named on the Time 100, Time Magazine's list of the world’s 100 most influential people. Originally from Greece, she moved to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University where, at 21, she became president of the famed debating society, the Cambridge Union.
