Dr. Linda Baer is a former Senior Program Officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Postsecondary Success. Before moving to the foundation, she was the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic and Students Affairs with the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Linda served as the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and also Interim President at Bemidji State University.
Dr. Baer graduated with degrees in Sociology from Washington State University, Colorado State University and South Dakota State University.
Dr. Baer's most recent publications include “Smart Change” published in Planning for Higher Education, Action Analytics Measuring an Improving performance that Matters in Higher Education in Educause Review, and Shared Leadership in a Green, Global, Google World published in the October-December 2010 issue of Planning for Higher Education.
