Episode 49: Dawn Burroughs Theater Kid Who is Impacting Her Community

Your ViP Ignite Podcast host Deneen White is excited to introduce you to Dawn Burroughs. Dawn recently graduated from high school, After you hear her story, you will have no choice but to throw the word “can’t” out of your vocabulary. Dawn has faced a lot of adversity for a 19 year old, but every time she has been knocked down, she stood back up, stronger than before.

Dawn has quite a list of credits: Peter and the Starcatcher, Oklahoma!, The Addams Family, Beauty and the Beast, Bye Bye Birdie, Sweeny Todd, Mary Poppins, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Snow White, and OZ!, just to name a few. When she’s not acting in productions, she is helping to mentor her peers toward success. She also wrote and directed her own play—that won 4 awards!
