Matthew covered the accidental deaths of two BART maintenence workers during the recent workers strike. He has also covered the recent incident in Roseville where a parolee engaged in a shootout with police. Matthew has also mixed it up on Twitter with local news outlets about their news coverage, at one point getting blocked by KTVU's account for complaining about not being credited as a source.
