Tonight Vince welcomes blogger Cheri Roberts and SSG Joe Biggs to the show to discuss the life and death of investigative journalist Michael Hastings.

We will discuss the amazing short lived career of Hastings and highlight some of the great work he did leading up to his untimely death. We hope to get better insight into what Hastings' state of mind was like and debunk any conspiracy theories or myths associated with the meager media coverage/investigation of his death.

We will also explore how Hastings' reporting relates to much of today's headlines, such as: "war on journalists" like Barrett Brown or Greenwald, NSA leaks/surveillance state, intimidating whistleblowers like Manning or Snowden, FBI, CIA, contractors and black ops at work in Middle East, Egypt, Syria and more.
