Whispers in the Dark - Episode 86

We have TWO wonderful guests tonight! And I just realized they are both from Georgia!

Amber Skye Forbes is a dancing writer who prefers pointe shoes over street shoes, leotards over skirts, and ballet buns over hairstyles. She loves striped tights and bows and will edit your face with a Sharpie if she doesn't like your attitude. She lives in Augusta, Georgia where she writes dark fiction that will one day put her in a psychiatric ward... again. But she doesn't care because her cat is a super hero who will break her out.

And in our second hour:

Mark Stokes - 22 years old Born and raised in Yorba Linda, California, grew up as the youngest of four boys in his family. Easily influenced by his big brothers, Mark would enjoy doing any of the hobbies they took on. Music being one of them, he would grab his guitar, turn the radio on and begin jamming out, quickly learning songs by ear for pure enjoyment! At the age of 15, times became rough and he moved to a quaint town in the North Georgia mountains - Dahlonega. Here he lived only with his parents and lost contact with two of his brothers in California. The other brother, being in the military, is often distant in location but he constantly makes an effort to help Mark with his pursuit of goals. Being a very shy person, he lately has came out of his shell and began posting videos on YouTube of covers and also originals! The journey of booking shows has begun as well and his following of friends, family and fans continues to grow strong with support. Meanwhile, he is pursuing a Bachelors degree in Music at The University of North Georgia. Mark's free time is scarce, but when he has it he puts it to great use to create and write his life's story through lyrical and melodic ideas. He knows the future will be a long swim, but he is prepared to keep his head above water!
