Women-owned sports teams are few and far between, but a growing number of entrepreneurs are buying stake in a traditionally male industry. Pioneers like Ginny Gilder and Kathy Beatty have opened doors for women in sports, and currently 1/3 of teams in the WNBA are owned by women.
