Reckless 2.0- W/Asheru

Distinguished educator, artist, and writer Asheru stops by Reckless 2.0 to discuss his views on the system of white supremacy. He has worked with other hip hop artists such as Talib Kweli and Mos Def. He is also well known for both his musical and writing contributions to Aaron McGruder's animated satire "The Boondocks", in which he won a Peabody Award for Journalism. We will discuss Asheru's views on the plight of the educational system, what he has learned from the music game, his other general observations on the system of white supremacy, and of course, the Boondocks.
