Dr. Garrard McClendon, PhD stops by Reckless 2.0 to share his views on race(ism). Dr. McClendon earned his PhD from Loyola-Chicago in education and is the author of “Ax or Ask?: The African American Guide to Better English.” He has also hosted The McClendon Report TV and radio shows for Comcast and WVON-AM 1690, among other programs based out of the Chicago area. Dr. McClendon caught the folks at Reckless 2.0's eye based on a recent Fox Chicago News Report found here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_KKLkmIrDk&list=PL11E0B1832A52A185&feature=plcp

. We'll be sure to ask Mr. McClendon how his work is improving/affecting the lives of black people, whether he thinks it could be a cultural genocide of sorts, and whether the view that all forms of "Black English" are degenerate or incorrect could contribute to racism/white supremacy/anti-blackness.
