Tonight's Special Guests are Judge Dominique Collins, Judge Audrey Moorehead, and Judge Victor Landers.  Our first for 2023; is a FREE IN-PERSON -Legal Clinic on May 6, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church 680 US Highway 80 E/ Mesquite, TX 75149, with Confirmed Pro Bono Attorneys and Judge Dominique Collins, Constable Deanna Hammond, Atty. Candice Haley and the Attorneys and assistance from the Legal Aid Northwest TX Office - Attys Bruce Williams, Kelby Stuckley, and Gloria Kea-Paralegal   Break-out tables are available for private one on one assistance.  Many of the problems and subjects discussed are Wills & Trust,  Grand Parents' rights when children are left by parents, guardianship, appeals, disability, Evictions and Eviction rights & laws, expungement applications, and Police-pull overs when marijuana is in your vehicle. Homestead tax appeals (when taxes are higher than income). Also, the City of Dallas NSO- Neighborhood Stabilization overlay or conservation district helps protect communities from gentrification with improvements (and stops tax increases).

Verna's H.E.L.P. Foundation's goals are to support the community through  Pro Bono Legal Assistance, Job Fairs, and Business Workshops for Small Businesses to assist Local and Federal agencies with our Podcast and resources counseling.  Our workshops and resource counseling will assist many with SAM certification, and Borrower Certification, Related to Business Enterprises, Owned and Controlled by Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (SEDI-Owned Businesses).
