On July 6, 2022 The Washington Times reported, DHS erases barrier to legal status for some illegal immigrants.  On the very same day, CBS News reported:  Tip from "hero citizen" thwarted July 4 mass shooting in Virginia's capital, police say.  Fox News reported:  Potential Richmond July 4 mass shooters charged as noncitizens in possession of firearm, police say- One of the suspects in thwarted Richmond mass shooting had previously been deported.

We will consider the nexus between these two reports and the implications of the DHS policy change.

It has never been more important that we truly learn how to speak with our fellow Americans in non-confrontational but in fact-based effective and persuasive ways.  Immigration is one issue that should unite all Americans!
