 John Morris was born on May 18, 1948 to Rev. John and Maxine Morris in Huntington W.Va.  He received his religious training under the Pastorate of Eld. Katherine Jackson at Christ Temple A.O.H. Church also in Huntington.  Being the first member lthe first drummer, soloist and Sunday School student of the church.  After being baptized in Jesus' name in June of 1960, on November 24, 1963, at the age of 15 he received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.  He was called to the ministry a few months later. Thousands of souls were lead to the Lord through his Anointed Ministry.  In 1982, he accepted the Pastorate of the Bethel Apostolic Church in Chicago, IL.  

Dr. Morris' music career took an upward swing after being discovered by Dorothy Norwood in 1995. He was signed to Malaco Records where he released his hit CD "God Reversed The Curse", which was nominated for a Stellar Awards (new artist of the year) and is still being played on a national circuit.  His latest release In January 20, 2006 Titled “I Am The Lamb” with a 40 voice choir that was made from ten local churches where you can feel the anointing as you listen and be blessed. He has written over 1500 songs and made over 19 recordings. He is the author of two poetry books called Rhymes of the Times. He owns his own publishing company “Tried Music, recording studio and record label “Anointed Records, where he is producing other artist.

This is a miracle of God, for a man with no professional musical training, to have accomplish so much. He is anointed to write and play. Bishop’s ngs are being sung all over and blessing the body of Christ. Bishop Morris truly believes the scripture that says where much is given much is required, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!
