UJR Presents: The Good, The Bad, The Roundups

Join us as we kick off Rattlesnake Roundup awareness month with a dive into the depths of what lay ahead.

First we'll kick off the show with a visit from Fred Antonio of The Orianne Society.  Fred works in conjunction with Orrianne to bring first rate education to the Rattlesnake Roundups including recently reformed venues which now celebrate snakes like Klaxton Georgia and others.  Fred will tell us all about Orrianne's efforts to bring public education to events which once exploited these beautiful repitles.

Then we visit the other, darker end f the spectrum as Repitle World Legend Tom Crutchfield tells us all about his visit and expert opinion on the Whigham rattlesnake roundup which is the last of the roundups which collect and slaughter wild rattlesnakes in Georgia.  Listen to Mr. Crutchfield's chilling tale of rattlesnakes waiting to die.
