Co-founded in January 2011 by Ron Sapp, Sharing Spree is a daily deals site that's dedicated to giving back to local non-profits and schools by donating 10-15% of every deal purchased.

By focusing on buying, giving and living locally, Sharing Spree has already donated $337,000+ to non-profits and schools. Now, even those budgeting their disposable incomes can reach out to help their community by going on sharing sprees.

The University of Oregon Alumni Association is an example of the power of the Sharing Spree partnership for non-profits. In just one month, Sharing Spree recently raised $17,500 for the group.

Some other of the charities they support are: American Cancer Society, CASA, Arthritis Foundation, American Diabetes Association, Autism Speaks and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Ron Sapp graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and went on to receive his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing. Throughout his corporate career and business experience, Ron has excelled in sales, sales management, market development, national sales training, and operation of a franchise selling high-end cardiovascular products with sales of more than $10 million.

In 2010, Ron bought into a franchise called MyEZdeal.com, which later became SharingSpree.com. He is now the CEO of SharingSpree.com.
