Surviving Domestic Abuse- How One Man Made It Over!

Today's topic is surviving domestic abuse from a man's perspective.  We will be interviewing Mr. Michael J Staton on his life journey through an abusive home as a child and how it is that he overcame. Today, Michael will be joining us after having given a speech on championing domestic abuse before the honorable Philadelphia Mayor, Mr. Michael Nutter and Senator LeAnna Washington.

iPledge.org in collaboration with Women Against Abuse, inc., and other supporters, held the event at Love Park on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, in order to raise awareness in the Philadelphia area on abuse and its affect on our communities and families.  Old cell phones were also collected to raise money for the abused women as well.
