Bettina Damiani, Project Director, Good Jobs New York, has worked to bring more transparency and public participation to the use of subsidies for large economic development projects. Included in her research has been the allocation of federal funds after the attacks at the World Trade Center site and the subsidies for a new Yankee Stadium. Prior to joining GJNY, Bettina worked for New York City Public Advocate Mark Green and the Coalition for the Homeless. She has a BA in communications and peace studies from Manhattan College and a Masters of urban affairs from Hunter College. She is also a recipient of the 2006-2007 Revson Fellowship at Columbia University.
