PD 95-"People Helping People"

Our first guest tonight will be Julie Gamble.  Julie is one of my very best friends and she is getting ready to put on a fundraiser to help a group called, Camp Quality Kentuckiana".  Thier mission is, "Camp Quality serves children with cancer and their families by providing year-round programs, experiences, and companionship, at no cost. Camp Quality promotes hope and inspiration while helping children foster life skills and develop their full potential."

Julie's event is the 2nd Annual Family First-Costume Party.  It is October 31st and will be at Kye's in Jeffersonville. 

Our second Guest is Mike Mulrooney which is the founder of Shirley's Way.

The Average person cannot afford to survive cancer. Our mission at Shirley's Way is to be an extension of the household income and help a single local family per year. This year we are supporting the Smother's family and helping them with everyday expenses as their daughter fights leukemia. They have missed several days of work to be with their daughter in the hospital during her treatments and could use a hand during this time.
