The Fourth Branch: OPEN AND SHUT CASE-- OPAL WORDS Thursday, January 19, 2017, at 6-8 p.m. Pacific; 7-9 p.m. Mountain; 8-10 p.m. Central; and 9-11 p.m. Eastern.
Are you aware that serious, permanent nerve injury can result during a routine blood draw by a licensed phlebotomist? The practice of “fishing,” that is, moving the tip of the needle around under the skin, for a blood return, is prohibited. Our guest, Opal Words, suffered such an injury to her medial nerve from a bad “stick,” and has been diagnosed with RSD, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, as a result.
Thus began her 19-year story of medical malpractice, retaliation for reporting, insurance fraud, fraud upon the court, pharmaceutical errors, and Marinol overdose.
Our show includes a video of Opal’s story, as well as an opportunity for live call in with questions and comments. Please join us at this link!
