Our idols will always fail - God never loses!

While God was delivering the Israelites from their slavery in Egypt, He was also speaking loud and clear to the Egyptians. God was saying all the gods the Egyptians worshipped were false and could not help them. Their god of the Nile couldn't prevent God from contaminating the waters. Their god of healing couldn't heal them from the boils and sickness that God struck them with. God made sure that the Egyptians, as well as the Israelites knew that there was only one God that was worthy to be worshipped, and that was the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
