In Exodus chapter 8, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is in the midst of delivering His people from the bondage of Egypt, and in the process revealing Himself to Pharaoh and the rest of the Egyptians. With the plague of the swarms of flies and the plague of the animal deaths, God reveals to Pharaoh that He makes a distinction between His people, and the Egyptians. Goshen has peace and provisions.
