As members of the Body of Christ, we are separated unto God from the moment we are born again. We are separated unto the Lord for His good purpose. We are divinely called into a royal priesthood to show forth the praises of God who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. God does not want us to take this calling for granted or be flippant about it. If we do, it shows that our faith and trust in God is lacking, and it will hinder our walk with God and lead to disaster.
