Holy Fire

The Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth to give His life as a ransom -to  pay the price for our sin so that we would be in right standing with God. Yes, Jesus Christ saved us from having to pay the penalty for our sin, and made a way for us to be in right standing with the God of Creation. But God’s purpose for us doesn’t end there. When we confess our sins, repent, and submit our lives to God’s Lordship, God doesn’t just desire that we go on living our lives as usual, trying to have the best life that WE can provide for ourselves. The purpose of us being saved is that we would become like Jesus Christ. Everything else in our walk with the Lord flows out of that.
