Our God of love, mercy, and judgment

The book of Revelation is about God's judgment upon all mankind. The Lord our God is a God of love and mercy. There is no doubt about that. But He is also a God of judgment. God’s judgment on mankind that have done wickedly and have forsaken the Lord, and have shown themselves to be enemies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ will come, and this is the central theme of the book of Revelation. But we must not forget that the Lord’s people, His true church, the called out ones, the ones who have been redeemed from this world and its systems, the ones the Lord calls to be holy and separate unto Him, will also experience God’s judgment if they are in sin and unrepentant.

As born again believers we will have to give a full account of what we have done with what the Lord gave us.
