NYU graduate and publishing wunderkind Daniel Genis had a bright future before him which took a sharp turn to prison for serial mugging and consistent stupidity. Emulating the Beats whom he couldn’t stop reading, Genis became addicted to Heroin, that famed wonder drug originally promoted as a non-habit forming treatment for coughs and diarrhea. Smack’s long been revealed as exceptionally addictive, but there’s no finer anti-tussive and you can't poop no matter how hard you try.

A devout atheist who doesn't keep Kosher, Daniel’s been called ‘Prisoner Laureate of the Internet’ for his ubiquity. in the ten months of 2014 that he was not a prisoner, Genis published 60 articles. Ten years is a lot to make up. Recently he’s moved beyond the written word.

Daniel is now ruling the universe of expert commentary. When ever the media wants 60 seconds of authoratative, concise insights from a devout athiest who doesn't keep kosher, who do you think they call?  Guess again. They call Daniel Genis

When a German magazine wants to kiss and make up for all that stuff on the History Channel, who do they have write their cover story? No, wrong again -- it's Daniel Genis

When legendary broadcaster and Edgar Award winning author Burl Barer wants to share time and space with a vastly amusing literary co-hort with a marked affinity for ITC television productions from the 1960's, who does he call? No, wrong again -- it's Daniel Genis.

Listen now as Burl politely grills Daniel like a swordfish.  (Ed note: while this statement is grammatically incorrect, and should be written as "grills Daniel as if Daniel were a swordfish," the idiomatic humor is lost in the oppression of gramatical correctness)
