Dr Nido Qubein; The Time is Now!

Host Todd Weaver speaks with Dr. Nido Qubein. Nido came to the United States as a teenager with little knowledge of English and only fifty dollars in his pocket. His journey has been an amazing success story. Today Nido is the president of High Point University, a liberal arts institution with more than 4,300 students at campuses in High Point, North Carolina. As a speaker, Dr. Qubein has given more than 5,000 presentations and received every award in professional speaking. He is considered both a motivational speaker and a business speaker with a range of topics covering everything from time management to branding. He has written more than a dozen books on leadership, sales, communication, reculturing organizations and achievement; recorded scores of audio-visual learning systems; and hundreds of client-customized products. The National Speakers Association named its Philanthropy Award for Nido and the Qubein Foundation has awarded hundreds of scholarships to students across North Carolina and the country.
