James the Just -- "Faith without deeds is useless."

The Book of James is a powerful epistle that has been placed in the back of the New Testament as if it were an afterthought.  Some historians have noted that it almost did not get into the Bible at all. The message contained in it is all the more powerful because they are the words of the brother of Jesus and leader of the followers of Jesus after his death.  Tonight, and for the next few weeks we will take a close look at this often ignored writing to see the wealth of insight it provides about the real teaching of Jesus of Nazareth.
