The earliest writings in the New Testament are Paul's authentic letters.  One indication that the Gospels were written later is that Paul never quotes from them.  Further, Paul seldom quotes Jesus -- and when he does, they're not the same sayings we find in the Gospels.  Despite his having written an entire biography of Paul in Acts, Luke seems to be curiously unaware of Paul's Life and ministry as reflected in Paul's authentic letters. None of Paul's letters are mentioned in Acts. Paul has become the most quoted and sermonized person in Christianity.  But whom do we serve Jesus or Paul?
