The question we will discus is "How did Jesus become Christian?" It is clear now that Paul never knew Jesus --never met him -- never heard him preach. Paul was never a disciple of Jesus.  Paul does not even quote Jesus in his numerous letters that comprise more than half of the New Testament.  Paul admits that "his gospel" came to him directly from Jesus in a revelation (that is a dream). That Paul was never an apostle except perhaps in his own mind is now undisputed. In fact, the only reference to Paul as an apostle in the entire New Testament is when he refers to himself as an apostle -- seventeen times. That none of the first followers of Jesus including those who were called by Jesus as apostles ever recognized Paul as an apostle is also clear. Yet it is Paul's Gospel of the Christ that has replaced the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. It is the teaching of Paul that we now refer to as Christianity.
