Yvonna Kopacz-Wright made her debut on the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light on September 4, 2001 in the role of Mel Boudreau. In 2007, Kopacz-Wright was nominated for a NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series. At the age of eighteen, Kopacz-Wright, a Fresno, CA native, entered a Seventeen magazine modeling contest where her exotic features earned her a trip to the Wilhelmina Agency in New York City. After modeling for two years, the actress returned to California where she completed two years at the University of California at Berkeley before joining the cast of the daytime drama Days of our Lives. Her other credits include guest-starring roles on television's Cosby and Nash Bridges as well as the feature films, Anywhere but Here and The Hardest Part. On stage, Kopacz-Wright has appeared in "Five A.M.," "Dreamgirls" and "Working." Kopacz-Wright and her husband Brett have two daughters, Marley Jade (b. 1/15,04) and Lola Wright (b. 8/18/02). The couple resides in Harlem. When not working, Kopacz-Wright enjoys yoga and making jewelry. she is currently on cbs blue blood with Donny Walberg and Tom Selleck.get-attachment.aspx
