Episode 35- Guadalcanal Veteran and Military Suicides

Bob Youngdeer, a Marine Raider that was wounded on Guadalcanal.  His brother (Jesse) was also a Marine Raider. Bob was wounded on the first night of bloody ridge (shot through the face - the bullet went into his left nostral and out behind his right ear) and Jesse was wounded on the second night of bloody ridge. They were reunited on a hospital ship on its way to New Zealand a few days later. We will be talking to Bob to hopefully hear and capture some of these great historical tales for all of our listeners to enjoy.
