Just Listen Again - Dr. Mark Goulston Returns

Dr. Mark Goulston, one of my favorite authors and interviewees returns to Tom on Leadership.  We address: 

1. Why is listening so important to getting people to do what you want them to do?

2. What does a person feel when they have been listened to?

3. Why is it that so many people know and have been told how important listening is and yet don't do a very good job of it?

Dr. Goulston is the author of the international best selling book, “Just Listen” Discover the Secret to Getting Through to Absolutely Anyone. Dr. Goulston and his book was also a PBS special entitled “Just Listen with Dr. Mark Goulston.”  His next book, REAL INFLUENCE: Persuade Without Pushing and Gain Without Giving In, is co-authored with Dr. John Ullment.  "Real Influence" was the lead book for the American Management Association in January, 2013 and focuses on influencing people in a post-selling world.
