August Rosado of Today In Bible Prophecy Ministries talks about the Rosh Shashana and the Jewish New Year 5777. The holy day is biblically called Yom Truah in Hebrew or Feast of Trumpets recorded in Leviticus 23:23-25. Many have associated the Feast of Trumpets with the Rapture but the Rapture is an imminent event with no dates or signs preceeding it. Rosh Shashana is the Jewish Civil New Year based on the Lunar Calender of the moon. The Rabbis believe that God created the Universe, Earth, and man on the sixth day five thousand seven hundred and seventy seven years ago. There is a discrepency of 223 years on the Jewish calender. August will show that the Feast of trumpets is more associated with the Second Coming of Jesus rather than the Rapture because this is a Jewish feast and not Christian. No prophecy, dates or signs preceed the Rapture and nothing has to be fuflilled before the Rapture takes place.
