SERIOUSIDE: EXPIRED BENEFITS, & THE VP PICK IS, OBAMA IS BACK!

Good Morning and Welcome to the Seriouside of the jrilshow.  This morning we will discuss the following topics:

• EXPIRED BENEFITS:  On July 31st the extended unemployment benefit of $600 per week expired while Republicans in the Senate took their August recess.  FYI, the Dems cancelled their recess until this has been resolved
• AND THE WINNER IS:  This past week, cameras got a closeup shot of VP's  Biden's notes at an event last week.  Guess whose name was at the top?  Here's a hint, K.H.
• SAYING GOOD BYE TO A LEGEND:  This week the nation honored Civil Rights icon John Lewis.  The service was filled with tributes, songs, and praise, but it was the remarks of one speaker that got everyone's attention.
