When the Delta Foundation announced their headliner entertainer wass Iggy Azalea, many in the Western PA area were outraged and many LGBTQ persons of color felt especially alienated from Pittsburgh Pride. However, the selection of Azalea was just the last in a long list of incidents which leave many feeling as if the Delta Foundation doesn't care about the local LGBTQ community, but rather organizes Pride for white cis males alone. From the outrage came the organization of Roots Pride Pittsburgh.

My guest for this episode is Joy KMT, one of the co-organizers for the protest against Delta and the organizing effort to form Roots Pride Pittsburgh. We will talk about the Iggy controversy, and how a grassroots oriented Pride will serve Western PA's LGBTQAI com munity.
