Join This Woman's Words as we discuss the role and importance of "Family".

Our guests today: Boris Wheatley who is married and a father of two children; and Marybelle Perez who is also married and a mother of two children.

1. What is family?
2. Why is family important?

We all have our own answers to those questions.  Our opinions are based in large part on our own families of origin…the family unit in which we spent our formative years.  The media has done an excellent job of making us believe that the look of family has changed drastically. 

Has the look of the modern family really changed or with our technology advances have we reached a point where we have transparency?

Why is family important? What does family provide for us? How do our families shape the person that we become?
