Our guest griots are the writer of the stage play "Somethin' Like Eatonville" NICOLE MORGAN, Mrs Morgan is the Author of  “The Secret Lives of Ministry Wives.” debuted Secret Lives in 2010 as a stage play which has appeared on many stages in the DMV, including Ira Aldridge on the campus of Howard University. Since 2010, Nicole has not stopped writing stageplays, one of which is “CHANGED!”, written specifically for Reid Temple’s Easter at the Temple 2013 celebration, and most recently, “Somethin’ Like Eatonville,” a musidrama that is based on the novel by Zora N. Hurston, “Their Eyes Are Watching God.” & Singer, actress TAMARA WELLONS, Tamara’s music reflects that of a passionate artist. While growing up in Virginia, Tamara was known as the “little girl with the big voice.” Singing was only natural for the granddaughter of the legendary gospel group The Pritchett Sisters. While studying at Bowie State University, Tamara immersed herself into the sounds of eclectic jazz and soul music as well as, her school’s jazz ensemble. And even today, she’s known to add a little Nancy Wilson or Ella Fitzgerald to her set. Tamara can flow flawlessly from an acapella to an acoustic accompaniment to a full band.
