As we close this year, we feel it is important to two very important societal problems; Bullying & Suicide.  In this special edition of the Thinking Out Loud Radio Show, we dedicate this show to the cause of Anti-Bullying & Suicide Prevention. Two very important causes that need more and more of our collective attention. And, yes it seems that during the holiday season more and more people make the ultimate choice to the end their lives for so many different reasons. During tonight's show we talk with a young man who not only was bullied as a teenager in school. but has found a way to turn this test of his childhood into a phenomenal testimony. Justin Coates, Author & Anti-Bullying Activist was bullied  for 7 years because he had an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) for reading and math comprehension. He found that nature and animal photos is what kept him motivated through his ordeal.  He currently is now working towards entrepreneurship and advocating against bullying. He has published his first children’s book "Please Don’t Tease" and has a T-shirt Brand called S.T.U.P.I.D. You've got to tune to the show to hear what this powerful acronymn means. His goal is to help others who are struggling and trying to make it  who have been affected by bullying.

We also discuss the recent suicides of Fox News Detroit Meteorologist Jessica Starr; and how a new method of Lasik Surgery could've been the cause. As well as a 9 yr old young black girl who committed sucide because she was being bulled in school. These are just some of the recent casualities of suicide that we have experienced, and we believe it is so important that if you are feeling depressed or having anxiety, or you are being bullied in school or in the workplace that you seek help. Bullying and Suicide are co-joined problems that we as community need to address. Join us for this powerful show.
