Please join us this Thursday for a discussion on Choosing Nutritional Supplements; How to choose the right ones for you.

Joining us to discuss this topic is Ryan Whitcomb, RD, CDN, CLT, a Registered Dietitian who uses an Integrative and Functional Medicine approach towards optimizing health.  He is the owner of GUT RXN Nutrition, a virtual private practice where he specializes in treating individuals with food sensitivities related to chronic inflammation.

Ryan received his undergraduate training in Communications from Ithaca College before becoming a dietitian.  He did his didactic program in dietetics at Queens College in Flushing, NY and completed his internship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX (now Baylor Scott & White).  He is currently working on his master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States in Portland, OR.
Ryan is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the state and local chapters.  He is on the Executive Committee serving as the Volunteer Chair of Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, a dietetic practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Originally from Long Island, Ryan recently made the move to Jersey City, NJ, something he swore he’d never do!
