The Whole Scoop is proud to present: The Importance of Health Care Advocacy with Trisha Torrey. We will discuss why everyone who is unfamiliar with today’s health care system (including: testing, admission, surgery etc.) should utilize the services of an Advocate.
Trisha Torrey has been Every Patient’s Advocate since her misdiagnosis experience in 2004. Since then her work has focused on patients, their access to good and decent care, their experiences with the healthcare system, and their health and medical outcomes.
To that end, she has been involved in many activities across the United States, from New England, to Southern California, from Florida to Alaska, and everywhere in between.
Trisha is the Author of the YOU BET YOUR LIFE Series along with many other books and/or publications. She is also the Founder/Director of the Advo connection. (Advoconnection.com).
