The premise of this show is to present different views on the treatment of heart disease specifically as it relates to the use of statins.

This show will feature Dr. Edward Kersh, MD,FACC

Dr. Edward Kersh is Chief of Cardiology at St. Luke's Hospital, San Francisco, and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth University and Touro University. Dr. Kersh is an active teacher of cardiology fellows and medical students. In 2000 was honored with the Kaiser Foundation Teaching Award as voluntary teacher of the year at UCSF. He has also been given the Gold Headed Cane Award by the AOA Honor Society at UCSF and the Outstanding Teacher Award in Cardiology at CPMC. Dr. Kersh is an active teacher of cardiology fellows and medical students. He has been recognized by his peers by election to Best Doctors in America.

 

Dr. Christopher Bump, DC

Dr. Christopher J. Bump has created a unique model of health care by integrating Functional Medicine and Chiropractic.  In addition to a Masters Degree from Columbia University in Human Nutrition and certifications in clinical nutrition with the AMA College of Nutrition, the International and American Council of Clinical Nutrition and he is also a Diplomat with the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition where he also presides on the Education Committee.  He has been an adjunct instructor at Columbia University and numerous chiropractic organizations throughout the country.  Dr. Bump is also a graduate of the Functional Medicine Institute.
