This woman was caught in the very act of adultery. She was guilty before the Lord and before the world. Now, adultery is a vile sin, but it is no worst than any other sin. In James 2:10 the word of God says "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of braking all of it" (NIV).
In fact, according to Rom. 3 : 10 & 23, Even if we never committed a sin with our bodies or our minds, we would still be guilty before be fore the Lord. And in the book of Gal. 3 : 22 we read "But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin...". So the fact of the matter is, we are all as guilty as this woman; our problem is that we simply won't admit it. This evening we are going to take a closer look at ehis subject.
