Yesterday our country witnessed the burial of our 41st president, George Herbert Walker Bush. Our current president was there with four other living US presidents. That fact by itself is something that all Americans should be proud of.
The transfer of power in our country is something that many other countries envy.
Since last Friday our nation has reflected on the passing in the life of Pres. George Herbert Walker Bush. What seems to rise to the surface of every conversation is that he was a statesman, a patriot, a family man and a good human being.
We can only hope that his example of striving to be a good American will continue to be a reference point for all of us.
