Free Agency Gone Bad: Inside the Tent: ATL Sports Talk Radio

It’s happened to all of our teams. The team has money to spend and the GM is ready to start negotiating and writing checks. The team lands the prize free agent, there’s the press conference and the new team’s jersey and the camera flashes and then the new guy hits the field, or the court, or the ice…and he is a colossal flop.

The Peyton Manning signing by the Broncos is a definite win but there are more examples of the free agent flop, especially here in Atlanta, than we care to count. Skrap and Rod will discuss free agency gone wrong…really wrong. Also, Boyd will give us the skinny on the NCAA Sweet 16 that kicks off Thursday night, we’ll talk a little about the Braves as they prepare for the regular season and the Hawks as they enter the stretch run to the playoffs; most importantly we’ll get the story from Rod about his experience auditioning for producers from the NBC show, “The Voice” last week.
