From sexual abuse to an advocate, Sheryl Dillard is a survivor. She has a Master of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta with a focus in Pastoral Care and Counseling. In addition, she has been a Spiritual Care Coordinator for hospice and a Chaplain at Emory University. As an educator with more than 15 years working throughout the southeast as a long-term supplement teacher, team- teacher and mentor for a- risk youth, she was called upon to mediate and provide crisis intervention for students and their families. As a creative writer Sheryl has developed workshops whereby students gained their personal voice, self-esteem, self-awareness and affirmation to set attainable goals.
