Religion serves to give us a perceived way to the divine. We are inherently driven to seek our divine nature. We have forgotten that we have the ability to reach that place from within ourselves. Consciousness is an aspect of Oneness. Our consciousness and the infinite cannot be separate. Unfortunately over time, the information and teachings found in religion have limited our scope of creation. At some points in time, religion has been used to control people in the name of god. The idea of the infinite, the divine, and pagan beliefs clashed. Both had their merits but as a result, ancient texts were either destroyed, hidden away or bastardized to maintain a hierarchy of power.

All seek the same thing. One true God. Some feature deities with different aspects of the same. But it is all the same. By virtue of the fact that we are created of One Light, one Source, all else is belief not necessarily truth.

Ancient texts thought heretical were hidden to avoid their destruction, such as the Isaiah scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Gospels found in the 1940’s in Qumran. We may never know the truth of all that existed that proves the most divine connection of humanity to creation.
